N&Co. Architecture Ltd was established in 2000 by Nathan Billings, following completion of a BArch at Victoria University of Wellington. Nathan’s work spans predominantly residential and light commercial projects, and over the years he has built extensive experience across a wide range of project types.

His projects include new homes, renovations, subdivisions, multi-unit developments, kitchens, bathrooms, and landscape concepts. Nathan can lead a project from initial client discussions through sketch design, developed design, and detailed documentation, then through the consenting process. His services extend to managing builder tenders and providing contract administration and professional instruction throughout construction.

Nathan has a design approach grounded in clarity, practicality, and a strong respect for Wellington’s unique coastal and hillside environments. He places emphasis on thoughtful detailing and robust documentation, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to construction. Nathan’s long-standing relationships with local consultants and builders support a collaborative process to produce consistently strong outcomes.

He is particularly interested in projects that must respond to the rugged (and unpredictable) Wellington landscape, and he enjoys working closely with clients to translate their ideas into well‑crafted, enduring spaces.
